These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern use of the APIC Owners Community website operated by IMMOBILIARI DI CASTELFALFI ETS (“APIC”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account and accepting an invitation — including by ticking the required Terms checkbox — you agree to these Terms. Optional usage analytics and product insights are governed by the Privacy Policy and your Account → Privacy settings; they are not part of accepting these Terms.

Who may use the service. Access to the members area is invitation-only. The service is intended for Castelfalfi property owners and other people the association authorises as community members. You must provide accurate information when invited, keep your login credentials confidential, and not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your access has been compromised.

Community purpose and features. The website helps members coordinate and stay connected — including directory and place information, events and editorial content, the Attendance Calendar, and related member tools. Features are provided for community coordination among authorised members. They are not a substitute for formal legal, tax, or property advice, and they are not a public marketplace unless we expressly say so.

Acceptable use. You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully toward other members and the association. You must not: misuse membership data or share another member’s personal information outside the community without a lawful basis or that member’s permission; attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems, or disrupt the service; upload unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content; use the service to spam, scrape, or automate access in ways that harm other members or our infrastructure; or impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with APIC. We may suspend or revoke access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or if continued access would harm the community or the service.

Your content and member information. You remain responsible for information you submit (for example attendance dates, notes, or profile details). You grant APIC a limited licence to host, display, and process that information as needed to operate the features you use and to administer the community. Other members may see information you choose to share through community features. Do not include sensitive personal data that is not needed for coordination.

Availability and changes. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the community’s needs evolve. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law. Material changes may be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.

Privacy, analytics, and monitoring. How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully. APIC processes member data for membership administration, communication, and operation of this members-only area. Data is only disclosed where required by law or necessary for association operations. The site uses technically necessary cookies for login and core functionality.

Separately from accepting these Terms, you may choose two optional product improvement settings (PostHog, Cloud EU) during invite acceptance or later under Account → Privacy. Both default to off.

Usage analytics helps us understand which pages and features are most useful — for example page views and feature use among signed-in members. Analytics profiles use your account identifier only, not your email or name.

Product insights provides optional insights into how you use the site so we can improve it — for example where members encounter friction or confusing flows while signed in. Sensitive fields such as passwords are masked, and authentication pages (sign-in, accept invite, forgot/reset password) are excluded. You can turn either setting off at any time; turning them off stops further capture for that preference.

Essential technical error monitoring (Sentry) may run to keep the service reliable and does not depend on these optional choices. Accepting these Terms does not by itself turn on usage analytics or product insights.

Liability. The service is provided for the benefit of the owners’ community on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, APIC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, temporary unavailability, or member-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for fraud or wilful misconduct).
